Lunch Basket-Jentezen Franklin

Here is a boy with five small barley loaves and two small fish, but how far will they go among so many? So they gathered them and filled twelve baskets with the pieces of the five barley loaves left over by those who had eaten.John 6:9,13

Grannies, and Grannies-to-Be, my goal is to convince you to plant the seeds of the JOY of Jesus in your family.  When someone else says it perfectly, I just pass it on!

The Jentezen Franklin, Kingdom Connection program that aired Sunday, May 10, says it all for me!!

With his great passion and deep faith, Pastor Franklin creates a vivid picture of the love of The Lord living in a family, life to life, generation to generation.

This is the story of how a mom packed, for her little son, a little lunch, that fed thousands — with leftovers, because…The Lord multiplies!

In “Packing Their Lunch” Pastor Franklin says:

“Sometimes we’re so busy trying to give them everything that we didn’t get, that we’re not giving them what we did get – the faith in God, the consecration, the dedication, the prayer life, the Bible reading.”

“God is looking for people who hold on to what other people are throwing away.”

“We need some women of God who will take their place in love, and fight for their families.”

“A miracle occurred because of what a mother put into a little kid’s lunch box.”

“What you put in, is the only thing God can Bless and multiply.”

Pastor Franklin used the example of King David and his son, Solomon.

God testified concerning him: “I have found David son of Jesse, a man after my own heart; he will do everything I want him to do.”   Acts 13:22

“My father David had it in his heart to build a temple for the Name of the Lord, the God of Israel.” 2 Chronicles 6:7

Solomon carried out what his father, David, held dear to his heart – the love of The Lord.

Pastor Franklin encouraged us to “impart before you depart”.
