Grannies, it is vital to “Speak Jesus” to your family and friends. However, it is also important to demonstrate your faith. The modern term is to be an Influencer!
When you might say something against someone, out loud ask JESUS to forgive you. Verbalize those little prayers, “Help me Lord JESUS”.

After getting your “pupils” interested in a relationship with JESUS, be sure to mention that being a Christian is not a “bowl of cherries”! (Do we use that phrase anymore?)
JESUS cautioned his disciples:
“Behold, an hour is coming, and has already come, for you to be scattered, each to his own home, and to leave Me alone; and yet I am not alone, because the Father is with Me. These things I have spoken to you so that in Me you may have peace. In the world you have tribulation, but take courage; I have overcome the world.” John 16:32-33 NASB
Christians do NOT live a trouble-free life. However, we have the all-knowing Guide and Counselor to get us through – JESUS and HIS Holy Spirit – our Helper!
