I have heard it said that God is our ultimate Authority and our most intimate Friend!
We hold RESPECT, ADMIRATION, AND REVERENTIAL FEAR of HIM.
We also hold a DEEP TRUST, ADORATION, AND LOVE for HIM.
I knew OF Jesus from childhood, thanks to my Grandma.
I participated in religion sporadically in my early-adult years.
By my early-30’s I gave up; I knew HE is in Heaven; I’ll see HIM when I die.
I don’t need HIM now.
It was in my early-50’s that a young evangelist spoke about HIM with passion and love.
She said that I could have a relationship with Him!
I decided I wanted that!
Now, in my mid-70s, HE is IN my life 24/7!!
I LOVE JESUS!! HE IS MY COMPANION, SAVIOR, AND FRIEND!!
I eagerly await the moment that we see each other eye-to-eye!
I’ll run into HIS arms and hug my FOREVER FRIEND with JOY!!
